Detection is not complete
Pattern-based detection can produce false positives and miss unusual formats, indirect references, or facts that are sensitive only in context.
Limitations
Sensitive information can be contextual and detection can be imperfect. SoloScripter is designed to add a review step, not replace one.

SoloScripter highlights findings and shows a short clean preview, but it does not decide whether a document is appropriate to share. Inspect the source and exported copy.
The document tool supports pasted text, TXT, Markdown, CSV, Word .docx files, and PDFs with an extractable text layer. It does not perform OCR on scanned or image-only PDFs, and older .doc files must be saved as .docx first.
Files are limited to 8 MB, up to 80 PDF pages, and 200,000 extracted characters. Extra pages or text are truncated with a notice.
Numbered tokens are consistent within a document. Blackout replacements are visual text blocks. Synthetic mode draws from fixed substitute values and should not be treated as realistic test-data generation.
Redacted Word files keep the original headings, bold, lists, tables and images, and replace text in the body, headers and footers. Text held inside embedded images, tracked changes, comments and footnotes is not replaced, and text boxes or SmartArt may be missed.
The PDF action opens your browser's print dialog. You choose Save as PDF there; SoloScripter does not create a native PDF file directly.
After export, you control where the de-identified copy goes. Review the receiving AI tool's privacy, retention, and professional-use terms before sharing.
SoloScripter can support a careful preparation process, but using it does not by itself satisfy legal, regulatory, contractual, or professional obligations.
Do not rely on automated detection as your only safeguard for privileged, regulated, or high-consequence material.
